I found a kitten. What do I do?

Kittens under the age of 5 weeks cannot regulate their own body temperatures, so it's important to keep them warm! If you can, try to detect their age as this will give more clarity on what to do. It's also important to call a local vet. They can give the most accurate information.

What should I feed my cat?

Cat's are carnivores and should only eat meat. The amount/calories will depend on the weight of your cat. We reccoment weighing your cat for more accurate answers or taking you cat into the vet to see. Cat's should eat mostly lean meats like chicken and turkey. Fish is good every once in a while, but due it being high in fatty acids too much is not healthy for them. Beef on occasion is okay.

What is the best food brand?

We reccoment Royal Canine as it is proven to be the most well balanced meals for all cats. They also have a variety of different foods for different situations. It's a bit on the pricier side, but if it's something you can afford we highly would suggest switching over to them.

Which is better: Wet or Dry food?

Wet food is suggested due to the extra hydration it can provide.

Dry food is better for snacking rather than as a meal (unless used as a food topper). Fooding mostly/only dry foods can lead to some health issues like dehydration and UTI's.
